McKinsey & Company has just published its report "State of Consumer 2024: What's Now and Then," identifying nine essential consumer trends.
The second highlighted trend is "Retirees Ready to Spend."
We are convinced that current retirees, whether in developed or developing countries, represent an increasingly strategic target for the next decade. These retirees, growing in number, enjoy a consumption expectancy of over 25 years after the age of 60. In France, their purchasing power surpasses that of the working population, and as members of the Baby Boom generation, they have distinct expectations for well-being, travel, and enjoyment compared to previous generations.
As McKinsey & Company points out, companies across all sectors can no longer afford to ignore this opportunity.
Let's discuss it!
