More 65+ Singaporians working than 65+ French people (09/06/2016)

Like in many developed countries, aging of its population is becoming a real challenge for Singapore. Society is changing fast. With Confusius culture, looking after elderly parents use to be the norm but Singapore high-pressure work environment makes it more challenging according to a NewYork Times article.  The high cost of living has obliged 440.000 Singaporians to work past 65 whereas only 266.300 French 65+ do with a population 11 times larger... Raising the age of retirement is becoming the norm all over the world. In Singapore age limit of cabdrivers is now 75. In France age limit of hospital doctors has been raised to 72 in 2015. The question now is how organizations will be able to adapt internally to this change and allow their employees to age in the workplace.
